Our Mission is to make inpatient psychiatric stays more comfortable by providing care packages to patients helping them feel safe, seen, and heard. 

Our mission also goes beyond the hospital room, where Futura Minds is committed to: 

• raising awareness for youth mental health
• reducing stigma
• building a more compassionate and informed community that helps every teen and kid feel seen and supported

What Hospitals Need to Know: 

With the help of therapists, child life specialists, past pediatric patients, and other medical professionals, 

we have been able to curate a list of safe, engaging, and comforting items that can be given to children within the psychiatric units of different hospitals; however, this can be tailored to your hospitals specific protocols.

In each care package, there will be a piece of art created by an artist who has struggled and overcome their own mental health journey.  The artist's  story will be on the back of the card, as well as some resources that they have found helpful on their own journey.
